Wide is my motherland
Very wide is our mother country,
She is full of forests, fields and streams.
I don't know any other quarter,
Where a man may feel so deeply free.
From Far East to Moscow area,
From Elbrus to icy Arctic seas,
Our man is walking as a hero
Of his lovely motherland expanse.
Everywhere, as the mighty Volga,
It is spread exciting human life.
Every young can find his happy fortune
And the old is honoured for his age...
Over country winds of spring are blowing,
Every day is better for the luck,
No one can do as we are doing,
Having time of our peaceful life.
Our hearts will quickly turn to anger
If a rival wants to break us down.
As a bride, we love the mother country
And protect her as the gentle mum...
