A Literary Certificate for the Ruble of Prince Menshikov. An app-antiquarian note.

A Literary Certificate for the Ruble of Prince Menshikov. An app-antiquarian note.

I once dealt with a real estate company that issued (and probably still issues) reliability certificates.

The certificate of reliability was the document confirming that the legal history of the object (of sale and purchase) was checked, and if there were relevant legal problems, the affected person would receive a payment.

I was looking at the situation from a practical point of view and was of the opinion that - if necessary - a presenting such a certificate for payment is a very difficult task.

All documents were prepared, completed, I didn't think about the certificate, I forgot about it.

A polite employee of the company kindly advised me: "Don't forget, take a certificate of reliability." I thought that her work would be assessed as impeccable, (in case) if a certificate of reliability was issued.

It cost me nothing to help a kind employee of a real estate firm. So I added a certificate to other documents. (In general, I liked the [other] idea: 'if real estate market participants focused only on objects with an ideal legal history, then the market would stop' ...).

So, without any effort, I took a positive action, I received a certificate of reliability - in addition to other documents (which, really, should - in their entirety [gamut] - guarantee the reliability of the transaction [deal] and protect the interests of the contract parties).

Why did I remember the certificate?

When thinking about the Ruble of Prince Menshikov, the following thought came to me: what if a Literary Certificate to attach [to affix] to the coin being sold?

For example, like a such document:

  "A Literary Certificate
To the Ruble of Prince Menshikov

This The Literary Certificate authenticates that it was about this Ruble that the antique note 'The Ruble of Prince Menshikov (1859)' was written on October 11, 2022.

Signature: Vladimir Zalessky, the seller of the Ruble of Prince Menshikov, the author of the miniature "The Ruble of Prince Menshikov (1859)" .

How such a Literary Certificate can damage me or to somebody else?

If the buyer of the Ruble wishes, he will take this Literary Certificate in addition to the Ruble.

If he does not wish, the Literary Certificate will remain with me, at my disposal. In a hundred years, I will put it up for sale through the classifieds site as a document from the past (with a noticeable price).

In general, with all the turns of events, the case seems to be a win-win.

I should think all details over carefully ... And - if expediently - to offer a Literary Certificate in addition to the Ruble ...
