Once, at the entrance to the school, a girl, a lover of postage stamps and a visitor to the sports section of recreational gymnastics, was detained. She had come to school with a tube (a pouch for technical drawings), in which there was a large wooden stick for performing physical exercises. The girl explained that she came to school with this stick, as she had to go to the philatelic store after school, and after that store - to the sports section. With such a route she has no time to go home to get a stick. The head of the sports section in which the girl was engaged confirmed that some exercises are performed with sticks.
After this event, some days later, a man in a uniform cap, in a uniform wear and with a pistol on his belt came to school. Everyone saw him enter the school. After that, the lessons began. Why this man came, who he was talking to, and when he came out, the students of the school did not know.
After these events, another incident occurred. The headmaster was walking along the school corridor during recess (school break). He passed by a group of school students in which Seryozha was standing. However, the director did not greet Seryozha, did not smile, but sternly told the school students: "You need to study and behave well!".
After all this, talks started at school that Seryozha was moving to another school.
Seryozha's friends were worried. But Seryozha gathered them and calmed them down.
After that, one of the kids, lovers of postage stamps, left the classroom and went to the school cafeteria. One of Seryozha's friends stopped him in the hallway, in front of the entrance to the school cafeteria:
"It's probably a lie that you have interesting stamps?"
The kid immediately took out his stamp album from his briefcase and showed what interesting stamps he had collected.
Seryozha's friend looked the kid's album through and agreed: "Yes, they tell the truth. You have some interesting stamps."
The kid went into the school cafeteria and approached a group of schoolchildren who were looking at albums with stamps.
Seryozha's other friend was here: "Well, show me what you've managed to collect."
The kid took out his album again.
"You go take yourself a coffee and a bun, and in the meantime we'll look at your album."
The kid went to get coffee and a bun.
Seryozha's friend showed other stamp lovers: "Look, he has a stamp worth five hundred dollars!"
Everyone was surprised. Seryozha's friend respectfully said: "Yes, well done, he have collected a good collection!"
The kid returned with coffee and a bun.
Seryozha's friend returned the album back to the kid and left the school cafeteria.
At that moment, Seryozha entered the school cafeteria. The inspection of the stamp albums began again.
Seryozha looked at other people's collections, showed his own and made approving remarks: "We have collected a lot of interesting stamps!"
When everyone went outside after visiting the school cafeteria, Seryozha said: "Now I'm going to the philatelic store. I accidentally got an interesting postage stamp almost for free." Seryozha showed everyone a stamp worth five hundred dollars. "And now one of the collectors buys this postage stamp from me for a good price!"
- But this kid has the same postage stamp! One of Seryozha's friends exclaimed.
- "No, unfortunately, I don't have such a good postage stamp," the kid said sadly.
Seryozha said: "Bye to everyone!" and walked towards the philatelic store.
All the school students were silent.
The strange atmosphere of some kind of expectation lasted for about a week.
However, the girl, a stamp lover who attended the wellness gymnastics section, wasn't detained any more at the entrance to the school with a large wooden stick.
Someone saw a man in a cap and uniform, with a pistol on his belt, leaving the school. What he did at school, who he talked to, why he came, - none of the school students knew.
And one day, at recess, the headmaster was walking down the corridor. He approached a group of students, among whom was Seryozha, smiled at Seryozha, and said:
- I heard how they talked on the air about the work of the Public Council of the Pool. Our school needs active students!
After that, the atmosphere at the school changed a lot.
The girl, a stamp lover and a visitor to the wellness gymnastics section, bought several portions of ice cream and handed them out at recess. Seryozha was among those who received ice cream. He thanked the girl, but gave the ice cream to one of the stamp-loving kids.
All the students were approaching Seryozha, tried to say something pleasant to him, and if they were lucky, then to shake his hand.
The teachers were smiling and they were looking benevolently at Seryozha.
Unnecessary talks stopped.
